KindPet — Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from kindpet.store, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing kindpet.store or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms in full. We cannot verify age at the point of purchase — by proceeding, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Products
Product descriptions, images, and specifications on kindpet.store are accurate to the best of our knowledge. Goods will match their description as supplied. Minor variations in colour or dimensions may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing tolerances — these do not constitute a mismatch or defect.
Product availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in USD. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If an order is placed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before processing and give you the option to confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Payment is processed securely via PayPal. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. If a payment fails after an order is placed, we will notify you — the order will not be fulfilled until payment is confirmed.
Orders
An order placed on kindpet.store constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Order confirmation by email does not guarantee fulfilment — if we are unable to fulfil a confirmed order, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.
We reserve the right to cancel orders where products are unavailable, where pricing errors have occurred, or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity — including significant mismatches between billing and shipping details or patterns consistent with automated or fraudulent ordering.
Personalised Items
The Personalised Reflective Dog Harness and Personalised Dog Collar are made to order. Production begins promptly upon order confirmation, typically within one business day.
By submitting a personalisation at checkout, you confirm that the information entered is accurate. We produce exactly what is submitted and accept no responsibility for errors in personalisation details provided by the customer.
Under consumer law, personalised and made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day right of cancellation, as the goods are made to your individual specification and production begins promptly upon confirmation.
Order Modifications
Requests to modify non-personalisation details (such as size or variant) may be submitted within one hour of ordering by emailing kindpet.hq@gmail.com with your order number. We will do our best to accommodate the request before production or dispatch, but cannot guarantee changes can be made once processing has begun. Modifications to personalisation details (dog's name) are not possible once an order is confirmed.
Statutory Cancellation Right — Non-Personalised Items
For non-personalised items (the Adventure Leash and Water Bottle), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and equivalent Guernsey consumer law.
To exercise this right, notify us at kindpet.hq@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned unused and in original condition within a further 14 days. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Delivery
We fulfil orders through CJ Dropshipping. Estimated delivery is 7–15 business days from dispatch confirmation. These are estimates and may vary.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to your shipping address. We currently ship to United States addresses only.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, extreme weather, pandemic, port or carrier disruption, customs delays, supplier failure, or government action. Where force majeure permanently prevents fulfilment of an order, we will issue a full refund.
Third-Party Services
Our store integrates with third-party services including PayPal and CJ Dropshipping. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or conduct of any third-party service.
Intellectual Property
All content on kindpet.store — including the KindPet name, logo, product imagery, copy, and design — is the property of KindPet and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission. For IP enquiries, contact kindpet.hq@gmail.com.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KindPet disclaims all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our products are pet accessories and are not medical devices, safety equipment, or substitutes for professional veterinary advice.
Nothing in this clause limits your statutory consumer rights.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KindPet's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, contact us at kindpet.hq@gmail.com in the first instance. We aim to resolve all disputes directly within 5 business days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme — we will provide details at the point of complaint.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. We submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guernsey, meaning you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where required by applicable consumer protection law.
Customers based in California and other US states may have additional rights under applicable state consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits those rights.
Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to resolve any dispute with KindPet on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and KindPet with respect to your use of kindpet.store and any orders placed through it. Our Privacy Policy operates separately as a statutory data protection document.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply only to orders placed after the updated Terms are published — orders already placed are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of purchase. The current version will always be available at kindpet.store/policies/terms-of-service.
